Richard Claremont – Bright New Day

There’s something about the transition from sun to shade, from cloud to rain, from morning to evening…and then back again.  Bright New Day is the newest exhibition by Richard Claremont. Featuring a travelogue of Victorian landscapes, the paintings meander through the golden dusty laneways of the wine country all the way to the pale moody days of the coastline. The character of Victoria is captured in sweeping brushstrokes that carry the viewer to these places and beyond.
